      How do I check if my device has SIM restrictions or is locked?

      Here you will find instructions to determine if an iPhone or Android is locked, also known as SIM restricted.

      Before joining the Jethro Mobile family, it's crucial to ensure that your device is unlocked. A locked device, also known as having SIM restrictions, may hinder your ability to use your preferred carrier's SIM card. But fret not—we've simplified the process with easy steps to determine if your iPhone or Android device is unlocked. Follow the instructions below to guarantee a seamless transition to Jethro Mobile and unlock the full potential of your device.

      For iPhone:

      1. On your home screen, select the "Settings" appApple locked step 1

      2. In "Settings", go to "General"

      4. Look for "Carrier Lock" and if unlocked, it should say “No SIM restrictions”

      For Android:

      1. On your home screen, select the "Settings" app

      2. Tap on "Network & Internet"

      4. Switch off the toggle in "Automatically select network"
