Have you been wondering the difference between a plan and an add-on? Look no further, your answers lie here.
Jethro Mobile is a prepaid cellular service where you can purchase plans featuring unlimited talk and text, aside from our starter plan, that will either come with no data, light data, or heavy data. No matter what plan you have, you can always add more data for that existing plan if you find you need it.
Whether you know of an upcoming road trip that will mean you need more data or you run out of data one month and need your high speeds back, we’ve got you covered.
These data add-ons range from:
- 500 MB 4G LTE Data ($7 USD)
- 1 GB 4G LTE Data ($10 USD)
- 3 GB 4G LTE Data ($20 USD)
What if I only use part of the data add-on?
If you only use part of your data add-on, it will not roll over to the next billing cycle. Whatever data amount you purchased is ONLY applicable to your current billing cycle. Let’s say Jillian has a 30-Day Simple Plan that runs its billing cycle from June 10th to July 9th. She wants data for her 4th of July celebration, so she purchases a 1GB add-on on July 1st. She used 700MB of the 1000MB (1000MB is 1 GB).
What happens to the 300MB she has left? On renewal day, July 10th, she will revert to her plan without data, with no rollover. She got her use of it; no need anymore!
So, the consensus is that add-ons are temporary boosts for your current plan without data rollover. You can purchase them as needed, but remember, they only apply to your ongoing plan. I hope that clears things up!
